Here’s another DIY project for you to try. How many times have you tried to photograph a beautiful flower in the garden, but before you can get the shot you want, you have to spend 20 minutes trying to build obscure barriers to the breeze that thwartes you efforts to get a sharp image?
Well a lot of photographers will go out and buy themselves a ‘Plamp‘, the most popular being the model from Wimberley. These are OK, but expensive (about £30), especially if you’re just starting out in photography.
This device, called the Wind-Box, from Mike Moats, costs just a couple of Pounds to make and does a much better job!
It uses four squares of thin plexiglass and some tape and takes less than 15 minutes to construct with a craft knife, or a pair of scissors. Watch the video to find out more…..
